Community is Family, Friends and those that have done for us!
Community means more than just the people who live in your area! Who is your neighbor you ask? Well it’s the good summaritan …. the people who love you no matter what, who treat you the way they would like to be treated and people who come to your aid in prayer when times are good and bad! I try to treat all those around me with respect and dignity, no exceptions! It is so much easier to love the lovable, but what about those who suffer inside? A kind word, a nice gesture and even a smile goes along way! I don’t have the power tom change what’s going on in our country or even the world, but I have the power to change the world, one person at a time! Here I am with childhood friend Christine Pinder, always beautiful always a friend! Remember folks charity begins at home, love those at your reach and they pay it forward and so on and so on …. why it would turn into a World Spiritual Movement! Spirituality to me means what am I doing today to enhance my fellow mans life! Wedding and Events are always fun…it is up to the Planner to do this. Make your client’s happy and take care of all the leg work! Here Erme & Viti Vidal, my Parents, renewed their vows …. I chose the skirt suit for my Mom from Saks and Dad, like me has quite a collection of suits! The Event was at St, M ary’s followed by a reception at the Hukilau Restaurant, music by Coffee Butler, and the cake had their original cake top! I must admit that because of my Mom & Dad’s influence, they have exposed me to styles, music, details to the eye and most of all Community Service! Dad especially has taught me with Mom’s guidance how to give back! These principles are carried out through my daily life in all that I do! I am a blessed man to be able to do what I do for a living, full time, for over 33 years! I live & breathe because I am helping families and Community alike to come together and be a part of! Vidal has held Key West together for over 3 decades with Wedding Planning, Photography & more..collecting for charities before they were well established and just ‘ALL BEING EQUAL’ as was the practice here in Key West since the 60’s that I can recall….this is community & not ever done single handed here are two other Pioneer’s of love & unity … Miss Allison & Penny then of the Spectrelles, who can tell where this historic photo was taken….I love you girls and I hope I threw you back!!!!!!!! You get back-up equipment, liability insurance, professional integrity, customer service, imagination and creativity. Also someone with personality to choreograph the Event & Photo taking….smoothly!

Today I’d like to talk to you about weak relationships whether you’re married, single, divorced or completely alone it’s important to develop solid strong relationships with others. It’s impossible to achieve success on your own, we all need the support of others to stand strong. Take a chair for instance, it cannot stand on 1 leg alone it needs 3 more in order to be stable. I’ve found that in life its crucial to hang around the right people who support your dreams and goals. In life we all have to support one another that’s what God wants from us are lives are not just for ourselves it’s for the benefits of others as well. There is no greater reward than the reward of helping , encouraging and supporting others.
Father’s Day is truly for that special man in our lives!
Here I shot one of the MOST memorable portraits I have ever done in 33 years! Walter Wyker & Cyrana his beautiful first born. This was during his break from the Barber Shop and had to be done quick … I won serveral Awards with this because usually it’s the Child and Mother … but having such a handsome friend I wanted to take advantage and Cyrana cooperated beautifully and so did Walter….this was the winning shot with the priceless look of Cyrana’s face. She was doing “pp” right when I snapped this one and Walter such a great model didn’t even complain! The rest as we say is history! So you see photographs aren’t expensive…they are priceless! As seen in this weeks Conch Color, my Dad is the BEST Dad in the world … he always taught me to believe in a loving God and at a very very young age maybe around 5 …..I started to loose people I loved my Cousin Squeeky, My Abuela Natalia and Abuelo Tita just to name a few…to console me he would always kneel done hold me and kiss me and tell me Son it going to be ok…they are with Papa Dios…God and funny but I could always feel the Spirit to this day …. for all those times you stood by me …. for all the good I that couldn’t …. I am everything I am because you loved me! I love you Papi…Love your Son!

The Most Unforgettable Miss Vickie Lawrence!
I will never forget meeting this lovely creature for the first time at the Copa Key West..we became instant friends and I did this photo of her in her Big Dressing Room at the Copa, she later told me her best friend was Dana Douglas and was going to turn me on to her to do her Miss Continental Winning Formal and the rest they say is history. Vickie died but not my love for her an her love now lives on in me & Dana Douglas for Dana and I became the BEST of friends….Vickie you are my angel and forever in my heart is the stamp of the love you gave to me! You were one the best my dear and still are in your memories…love you girl!
